Easton, Maryland – The July 2026 Guyette and Deeter Decoy and Sporting Art Auction featuring session II of the Jim and Diane Cook collection grossed over the cumulative high estimate at $6.5 million. With 95 items bringing $10,000 or more and 13 surpassing the $100,000 mark, there continues to be strong demand for rare and high-quality North American waterfowl decoys at auction.

The two-day sale started with 63 items from the Jim and Diane Cook collection, which brought in over $3.67 million, an outstanding per lot average of $58,376.

Highlights from the collections of Oliver Smith, Don Leonard, John Decesare, Martin and Deborah Maloy, Joseph Ellis, Chris Mackey, and Frederick Raymon all sold well compared to estimate and collectors were thrilled with what they were able to add to their collections.
